INDEPENDENCE OVERLAY METROPOLITAN DISTRICT

NOTICE OF VACANCY

Pursuant to Section 32-1-808(2)(a)(I), C.R.S., notice is hereby given that one (1) vacancy exists on the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of the Independence Overlay Metropolitan District (the “District”). One (1) director may be appointed to the vacant position of the Board to serve until the next regular election, which shall be held on May 6, 2025. Any interested elector of the District may file a letter of interest in such position along with a personal Resume, by mail to the District at: Special District Solutions, Inc., 2370 Antelope Ridge Trail, Parker, CO 80138-4235.

The Community Center is being staffed daily between the hours of 10:00 am through 7:00 pm.

Beginning August 14, 2024 through September 2, 2024 the Community Center will be staffed:

Monday through Friday - 4:00 pm through 8:00 pm
Saturday and Sunday - 10:00 am through 8:00 pm

Residents - please visit the Community Center during these times to register for access to the facilities and to reserve the Community Room.

The Trash & Recycling service fee for 2024 is $196.80. Residents were invoiced for this fee in December 2023, and prompt payment is appreciated.

Compliance Coordinator

The District has designated a Compliance Coordinator for website disability-related accommodations. The Compliance Coordinator has received training in website accessibility and updates the site in accordance with those best practices and requirements.
